How to Make Vegan Whipped Cream At Home (Aquafaba)

This version of vegan whipped cream is made using at the very least 2 ingredients. The ingredients are aquafaba and a sweetener of your choice. This whipped cream can be applied to any recipe that requires it. We enjoy this on our fruits, hot chocolate, and many more. Lets get started.

Ingredients:

4 cubes of aquafaba

1 cup of powdered cane sugar (Vegan Brands Only)

1 tbsp sea moss gel (optional)

1 tsp vanilla (optional)

1 tsp coconut oil (optional)

1/4 tsp cream of tartar (optional)

Other sweetener options:

1/4 cup Agave

Date sugar

Coconut Sugar

1/4 cup Maple Syrup

Directions:

Place aquafaba cubes in a large bowl and allow to thaw.

If you are pressed for time, you can add these aquafaba cubes into a small pot on low heat.

If using the pot method, add sea moss gel to pot of aquafaba and stir until contents are in liquid form.

Pour liquid contents into mixing bowl.

Add 1 cup of powdered sugar

Begin using hand mixer on lowest setting for about 2 minutes.

Gradually increase speed over a 12-15 minute duration.

Once the whipped cream has reached the consistency that you like, then you are done.

Tips:

I) If you have the means to acquire a stand alone mixer such as the KitchenAid Artisan Series, you can significantly cut your prep time down and save your energy.

2) Only thaw the amount of aquafaba that you need. Although this vegan whipped cream is great, it does not store for more than 24 hours before dissolving back into liquid. You can go through the process of whipping it again to the desired consistency. However, I would not recommend doing this more than 2 times to the same batch.
